Environment, Health and Safety Commitee (EHS)

 

Environment, Health and Safety General Policy of UAE aims at contribution and commitment to the following:

- Health and Security protection.
- Protecting the working and its surrounding environment.
- The initiative of Abu Dhabi Government is to establish and implement an integrated system for the management of environment, health and safety in Abu Dhabi.
- Compliance with laws and regulations regarding the environment, health and safety.
- EPS general policy seeks to insure the protection of the human and physical environment of the school and this policy includes all students, staff, visitors, stake holders ad contractors, as well as facilities provides and assets ensuring completion and achivements in the school system.
- Environment, health and safety management protects human health and ensures safety, preserving the working environment.

Thus, EPS adheres to the following:

1. Develop, implement and monitor integrated system to manage the environment, health and safety.
2. Comply with applicable local laws and related regulations.
3. Prevent environment pollution and personal injuries.
4. Achieve a sustainable development through the conservation of natural resources.
5. Provide educational training programs for the school staff.
6. Keep all school operations and activities in a risk-free environment.
7. Virtual training and work experience per month.
8. Reduce the health and safety risks in school laboratories.
9. Provide heathcare for all students and staff.
10. provide security inside the school playgrounds and gyms.
11. Implement a control system for all departments using surveillance cameras.
12. Manage safety on board on all school buses through a surveillance system.
13. Provide training cources for all school staff to be able to protect students whether inside the school or on board buses.
